The Certification File Review consists of a physical visit by PESB staff with the Certification Officer of each approved program every five (5) years.
- During this visit, a random selection of certification files are compared to the checklist for each program (see links below).
- Subsequent to the visit, a report is made to the program indicating that either the program's files are in good order and no further action is necessary for another five (5) years, or discrepancies exist which must be addressed.
- In cases where discrepancies exist, programs are provided one academic year to make corrections at which time PESB Program Support staff conduct a follow up visit with the Certification Officer to obtain assurances that procedures are in place to prevent future discrepancies.
